The Clear Linux Platform Engineering team within Open Source Technology Center focuses on providing a production-ready version of the Clear Linux based Operating System for new systems and platforms. It covers the entire breadth of Intel businesses including autonomous driving cars, IoT gateways, networking, industrial automation, and cloud solutions. The Power and Performance team is to analyze system key performance indicators and provide enhancement solutions to boost Intel products. The team works closely with multiple domain expert teams and upstream partners to deliver optimization patches and achieve excellent user experience with Clear Linux on Intel platforms. For this position, we are looking for Software Interns to join us on the latest & future Linux technologies on power and performance optimization for a family of Intel products. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: -Performance analysis and tuning for graphics, media and boot KPIs on various Intel platforms running Clear Linux -Automation validation tool development -Customer debugging and integration support.

- Master candidates, major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering are preferred - Linux software development background with Python/Shell/C/C++ programming experience - Good understanding of IA architecture and Linux operating systems - Team player and good communication skills - Knowledge of SW developing/testing process - 4-5 days per week and continuous >4 months working time - Quick self-learning capability is a must
