JD for NA Lab Intern

Position purpose:

# Provide assistance to Lab Engineer as required achieving the objectives of each research/development project and activities in an effective way

# Contribution to the projects and daily activities within CAS New Applications APAC team

# Stably keep in the organization

Major responsibility:

# Work as Lab Intern in the New Applications lab within CAS New Applications APAC team.

# Support lab engineer on carrying out practical synthesis and formulation work to support project development and process research

# Support lab engineer to manage raw materials (preparation, sampling, delivery etc.)

# Proactive management on samples and raw materials

# Actively improve lab safety and house-keeping

# Lab equipment usage and proper maintenance

# CAS R&D Team members (in Asia and Pacific: New Applications, INN-Resins, INN-Isocyanates)

# Student (bachelor or master course) in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer, and material science or similar

# Ability to effectively analyze, review and summarize data

# Ability to multi-task while working independently with occasional supervision and under pressure

# Good technical and interpersonal communication skills

# Team player within a group of diverse individuals

# Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
