Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP)
OMLP accelerates development and produces leaders capable of meeting the manufacturing challenges facing Services and Global Supply Chain functions at GE. OMLP is a two-year program that allows members to build leadership and technical skills through challenging rotational assignments, projects and world-class training.
Program members are involved in GE’s strategic initiatives, including GE’s drive for Lean Six Sigma. At GE you can gain hands-on experience with innovative, cutting edge products that will change the world.
Program Summary
• Intensive two-year entry-level program with at least three rotational assignments
• Possible assignments include: manufacturing shop operations, Lean, process engineering, Six Sigma quality, materials management, supply chain management, environmental health and safety
• Mentoring/networks, teamwork, ongoing reviews and defined deliverables
• Technical classroom training in manufacturing, global supply chain management, Lean Six Sigma, and sourcing
• Business training and challenging experience in: project management, team leading, negotiation, business acumen

Early Identification (EID)
The EID (Early Identification) Program is GE’s Internship Program designed to identify high-potential students early in their academic career as possible candidates for GE Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP).
The EID Internship Program offers students the opportunity to experience a real-life work environment at GE, developing the professional skills critical to a successful career, and a fast-track to the OMLP enrollment.
The internship assignment offers:
• Challenging assignments in plant to demonstrate your manufacturing / supply chain expertise, project management skill and leadership potential
• Working experience in international company
• Career coaching & mentoring from seasoned team leaders and technologists
• Exposure to senior leadership team in business
• Opportunity to OMLP direct hiring
Candidate Criteria
• 2020 graduates with Bachelor/Master degree, majors in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and materials engineering would be preferred
• Minimum 3.0 GPA overall and in major, or equivalent outside the U.S.
• Commitment to a career in supply chain/services management
• Analytical approach to problem Solving
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Rotation locations vary, thus candidate must be geographically mobile
