SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a skilled Embedded VoIP SW development engineer. He/She will contribute to co-engineering activities with them. He/she will collaborate with our internal experts in the different involved domains such as bluetooth, audio, SIP, VoIP telephony, Platform etc. These developments will be conducted in close relations with other developments teams (hardware, software, QA) located in China and outside China.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

-          Ensure design, development and test of software into a global project

-          Document his/her feature development via external specifications and external interfaces definition

-          Document design and algorithm implemented (Internal Specifications) if appropriate

-          Document internal interfaces if appropriate

-          Defect analyzing and bug shooting

-          Apply methodology/process with particular attention on Unit tests and Integration tests

-          Ensure required quality level and lead time for his/her development

-          Contribute to improvement feedback loop

QUALIFICATIONS:

-          Mandatory

o   Bachelor degree or above in electronic engineering, communication science, or computer science.

o   Good experience in software development, including all steps such as pre study, design, development and support in communication technologies. 

o   Good background of Vxworks/Linux development

o   Familiar with VOIP industry and development.

o   Good communication skills, English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.

o   Work independently with high accountability. Show good team spirit.

-          Nice to have

o   Good knowledge of memory management (RAM, Flash)

o   Good experience in Android platform

o   Good knowledge in Linux kernel, Driver, file system and bootloader (system initialization).

o   Familiar with Shell programming

o   Experience with IPV6 or Android platform is a plus.

o   Knowledge in Mercurial and ClearQuest is a plus

o   SIP phone or SIP gateway or SIP server development experience is a plus.

o   Good VOIP knowledge (SIP, TCP/IP, RTP/RTCP, Audio application, video, UI, platform, MOS, Jitter Buffer…)
