Job Description
Service Management Tools consultant is responsible for
Developing and/or setup monitoring solution for customer from infrastructure to application level;
Developing and/or setup ITSM solution for customer, e.g. incident module, assets module, knowledge module;
Collaboration with other technical team to optimize and customize monitoring process;
Reporting operational KPI with monitoring system and ITSM system;
Maintaining the monitoring platform and ITSM platform;
Tailor monitoring schema to fit on-going technology development, e.g. Cloud Computing, and more.
Development
Service Management Tools team is kind of internal supporting team with operational tool, e.g. monitoring tools, ITSM tools.
With monitoring tools, you will have a good opportunity to work with all IT related technology to implement proper monitoring solutions, while for customized monitors, you need developing skills to develop the feasible unit.
With ITSM tools, you will get to know ITIL process and support them with the software solutions.
In both field, you will work on operational tasks to have a stable supporting system for other organizations.
Qualifications
Familiar with monitoring tools, .e.g. Nagios, Zabbix, SCOM…
Good at program/script/shell developing
Have broad IT operation experience. E.g. OS, DB, Network…
Have knowledge of ITSM solutions
Good at learning and resolving problem by self
Good at basic English communication
