Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

Develop and manage DFMEA with quality & core engineering & suppliers.

Develop and manage IP/Console component/system DVP&R with core engineering & suppliers.

Develop plans to meet quality objectives and validate robustness and durability of IP/Console design.

Design of IP/Console assemblies, taking into account the applicable engineering specifications.
-
Ensure all Ford engineering and quality requirements are met thru design and verification.
-
Transfer and convert CAD data from/to suppliers as required.
-
Participate prototype build and testing, review results and prepare report.
-
Participate component/system level design verification and production validation.
-
Interface with Ford NA, Australia, Europe and China teams for product launch.
-
Perform package and feasibility studies at both component and system levels.
-
Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution as issues occur.
-
Support all APQP activities including PPAP.
-
Coordinate cross-function team meeting to solve IP/Console related design/engineering issue.
-
Work with the supplier to ensure each milestone deliveries on time.
Qualifications Required:
-
Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering;

Good engineering analytical skills,
-
Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge in CAD, CAE.

Good skills in project management.

Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

Team player, dependable and honest.

Flexible working hours to accommodate meetings with North America, Australia and Europe.
