Description Define, develop and demonstrate promising concept of composite projects including, but not limited to, electrical conductivity, toughening, self-healing, structure health monitoring topics through working with internal experts and external partners

Tasks 1. Be familiar with preparation, synthesis, manufacturing and testing of fiber, resin and other chemical reagents applied in composites 2. Communicate with both Airbus internal R & T division experts and external partners 3. Carry out material report, monitor aeronautical standard of materials and report the latest status of ongoing projects

Objectives 1. Explore the application of cutting-edge technologies about composites in the aeronautical industry 2. Follow and manage each milestone and monitor each delivery on time and on quality 3. Use qualified material with aeronautical requirement for testing to obtain valuable results 4. Find out optimized material with demonstration that have better performance, fuel saving and other benefits for future aircrafts

Requirements Education: Material Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Multifunctional Composites, Carbon Fiber or other related fields Competencies needed: 1. Innovation disruptive & incremental: design thinking, business thinking and system thinking 2. Workforce Polyvalence/Polycompetence Language: English, Chinese Other skills: 1. Knowledge of preparation, manufacturing and testing of carbon fiber and resin 2. Relevant knowledge about physical and chemical properties of curing agent, catalyst and other chemicals applied in composites 3. Good communication skills, ability to influence and transmit knowledge 4. A plus if a quick learner and a technical thinking inclination 5.
