YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Will complete rotations in Sales and Marketing, including Customer Service, Technical Sales, Marketing Communications, Product Management and Segment Marketing
Upon “graduating” from the program, the CLDP Associate will assume a full-time role in Sales or Marketing, e.g. a Product Manager, a Business Development Manager, a Technical Sales Representative, a Customer Service leader or a Field Sales Representative.
While in the program, some typical responsibilities will include:
Accompany Avery Dennison Field Sales Representatives on customer visits
Man the phones and take orders from customers
Learn about our products and help customers identify which product is best for their particular need
Update various sales support tools as needed, such as the Digital Asset Library, salesforce (CRM) tool and Custom Print Shop application
Support our end user engagement marketing strategy by providing a myriad of project support and project management activities
Participate in the translation of insights from customers and end users into innovative solutions
Ongoing research via the internet into markets, applications, customers and marketing communication trends and resources
Assist in the development and execution of sales support materials such as folders, brochures, swatchbooks
Assist in all facets of trade show and event planning
Manage the traffic from external campaigns and follow-up with customers
Provide research and copywriting support for product and service press releases
Support social media and web content creation and maintenance
Write articles about commercial successes to be shared across the company intranet
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Degree in business, communications, marketing, public relations or engineering
Commercial savvy, including presence in front of customers
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills
Project management skills
