[eBay 深圳实习]API Consultation Associate Internship Job Description Product Management API Team provides consultation services and advices to third party developers of sellers, vendors and partners who build business solutions with eBay’s public API (Application Programming Interface) in Greater China. API Consultation Associate is an internship position for enthusiastic individuals to assist API Integration Consultants in providing services to internal and external parties. We often face e-commerce business owners who need advices on systems integration and developers who would benefit from technical knowledge in utilizing different API features in development projects. We foster a community of developers working with eBay public API products and help drive strategy around our developer relations. You will assist in evaluating vendor solutions for our selected service provider program and monitor their quality and performance. You will also work closely with account managers, product managers, engineering team in different geographic locations. Job Duties Work with API Integration Consultants to provide API consultation and support to clients, partners, vendors and developer community in Greater China; help clients to integrate their business with eBay through public API that takes their business efficiency to the next level Understand seller needs and vendor products, and help define API adoption strategy Create knowledge transfer and training materials as well as proof of concept prototypes for support purposes Manage and audit the quality and performance of our partnering vendors; maintain a healthy ecosystem of in-house developed API solutions, third party products from API vendors and eBay developed seller tools Establish good communication with clients, partners and vendors to ensure new functionalities, updates and best practice guidelines are delivered to them Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, information system or related field or equivalent Excellent communication skills. Fluent in verbal and written English and Mandarin Chinese Great problem solving and analytical skills and a great desire to learn Knowledge of e-Commerce is preferable Programming experience is a plus
