Our Analytics team is looking for a talented UI Designer intern to help us create amazing user experiences for our analytics tools.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI development skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

The internship will involve various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to: - Translate designs into code - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code - Build cross-browser solutions optimized for a wide range of devices - Identify UI problems and bugs and devise elegant solutions - Advise on strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities - Help maintain code quality - Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Required skills include the following: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or similar field, or related work experience; - Proven experience in UI design and development - A strong portfolio that highlights successful projects - Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction - Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5 is a must - Experience with at least one of the latest JavaScript frameworks (Angular 2&4, React, Vue.js, AngularJS, jQuery) and tools (Node, NPM etc) - Experience with Python and related frameworks (Flask, Django) would be a plus - Solid expertise in building apps using MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, JSON, any MVC Javascript framework - Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or other visual design and wire-framing tools - Solid grasp of development and testing methodologies, object-oriented programming, and automated software testing - Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders; - Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Professional stance; - Fluent in Chinese and English.
