Position: Development Engineer / Specialist - TDS Reporting to: Product Architecture Manager JOB DESCRIPTION: In a project the Development Engineer is reporting to the Technical project Leader. The Development Engineer is to create, evaluate and verify innovative technical solutions for new products in projects within New Product Development (NPD) organization of Wellbeing&SDA. TDS engineer / Specialist is to build information into TDS system based on product range ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is for new engineers in order to come into the Engineering team in NPD and build up experience and learn from other colleagues. Working with TDS is to build technical documents based on the technical information from products. The TDS Engineer / Specialist role includes creating innovative, verified technical documents solutions for new products and existing products. To do this as a Development Engineer there is a great need to be in close cooperation with technical project leader or manager, Senior development engineers, C&A sourcing team, cross functional team and suppliers. As a Development Engineer / Specialist – your main responsibilities are: • Report progress, risks and deviation of TDS work to the Technical project Leader. • Support to create technical documentation (Team Center, 3D/2D/specifications, etc.) and make sure that these are updated and available for other functions. • Support project team for documentation work. • Build information into TDS system to generate part code for REX system • Match the part code with EBOM ANC and supplier ANC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED • Bachelor degree in Engineering • Basic technical understanding - Plastic/metal part design - Applicance Products knowledge • Working with people • Applying expertise and technology. • Learning and researching. • Analyzing • Delivering result and meeting customer expectations. • Achieving personal work goals and objectives • MS office, Adobe
