Main Functions and Responsibilities  Closely follow up regulations on US-China trade, evaluate business impact and organize discussion on solutions.  Ensure operational excellence to reduce impact of US-China trade conflict. Tariff exclusion application prior to shipment arrival for products fall into US-China trade war. Consolidate import documents for declaration and support duty refund of eligible exclusion list. Periodical reports on tariff impact and saving.  Support compliance reviewing on Life Science products to identify relevant requirements from regulatory perspective as new product initiative and Amendment Regulations. Specified regulations for biologics, drug precursor, controlled chemicals etc.  Collaborate with function divisions to identify opportunities for process efficiency and effectiveness in compliance through automation or process improvement, put in place compliance-related metrics and a program for continuous improvement.  Ensure the efficiency of daily operations agreed with KPIs and business requirement.  Execute and deliver Merck`s Trade Compliance Policy, best practice procedures and declaration-related law and regulation to Commercial, Product Management, Customer Excellence, Field Services, Supply Chain and Distribution as a protective means of fair transaction. Position Requirements  Bachelor (or above) degree of biotechnology, chemical or related background etc.  Strong Analytical ability and problem-solving skills  Excellent English written and verbal communication skills  Highly engaged and attention to details  Good digital sense  Very good Microsoft skill.
