Tesla Shanghai is currently seeking a Costing Data Analyst Intern to support accounting department in Gigafactory 3, Lin Gang Shanghai. During the internship, you will be able to enhance your IT skills, create new knowledge in accounting, and develop strong business acumen. More specifically, the daily work of the internship includes: 

1.     Get training from accounting professionals to understand general accepted accounting principles.

2.     Apply SQL to support accountants in data extraction, data cleaning, and data mining.

3.     Analyze financial data for Model 3 & Model Y and provide analysis result to senior cost accountant. 

4.     Corporate with Tesla BI team to create kinds of financial KPI reports.

5.     Work with internal auditors to optimize accounting internal control process.

The internship would be a great start point for your life-long career path. This position is available for anyone with the following backgrounds:

1.     Candidate should be able to work at least 6 months.

2.     Candidate should be master in SQL and able to use it in solving problems.

3.     Candidate who is curious and open for learning new knowledge.

4.     Candidate who is detail-orientated and able to work under pressure.

5.     Candidate who has knowledge in Power BI, Python, R, and other similar IT skills is a plus.
