Job Summary:

Remanufacturing Engineer in Volvo CE Reman Center Shanghai, responsible mainly for EnE (Electric and Electronic) components.

Disassembly, inspection, Remanufacturing of EnE components.

Core Handling

Identifying opportunities for recycling and reducing waste

Work with continuous improvements of existing processes and procedures

Support field issues with repairs of EnE components

Be responsible for the P+ station; Programming of ECU for Reman engine production

Follow existing safety and regulatory rules

  Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

Repair exchange goods in accordance with Volvo Reman Specs and  standards.

Failure of production equipment reported to the Supervisor

Receiving and Dismantling of Returned Materials, including Identification and Inspection

Notify list of part consumed on each reman units.

Notifying the Minimum Stock of Parts required for Remanufacturing of EnE products.

Carry out Remanufacturing Activities for EnE

Testing and arrange for Painting of Reman Units

Follow Safety Instructions as per Volvo Standards

Follow Regulatory standards and policie in China for EnE

Maintenance of Test Bench, Fixtures and Tooling

Notifying  the calibration requirements to line manager 

Support the rest of the 3R organization as needed in other areas of Reman, Repair and Rebuild

Support in resolving the field issue related to EnE components.

Maintaining the test reports for reman components built.

Maintaining clean work place with Volvo safety and environmental standards.

  Key Skills:

Basic knowledge in English is required

Good hardware and component knowledge of company products preferred

Knowledge in EnE (Electronics and Electrics) is required

Deep feeling for quality assurance

Basic digital and analog electric competence, able to understand wire diagrams and IC-components

Good interpersonal skills and initiative

Basic Engine and hydraulic knowledge and oil cleanliness standards is beneficial

Mechanical experience (engine and hydraulic components) is a beneficial

Read and understand documents and specifications from the supplier
