Uruguay through Global Magellan will use Culture, Education and Sports to bring Uruguay and China closer and promote the friendship and trade between Uruguay and China as suggested by President Xi on September 9 2020. Specific areas include: Culture: Uruguay will invite Uruguay teams in these areas through Global Magellan to Hainan and China.

• Music Events (folk music, music concerts)

• Latin American popular dances such as tango and the Afro-Uruguayan candombe (both of which have been included by UNESCO in its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity), as well as our folk ones.

• Ballets (Uruguay has a leading National Ballet in the Americas)

• Equestrian events and activities

• Auto racing

• Film

o Uruguay film festival. We have over 100 film titles. Most will be suitable and can be approved by China for showing.

o Make Chinese films in Uruguayan settings.

• Advertisement

o Make ads using Uruguay as a setting to promote Chinese products to Latin countries

• Beauty contests

Sports. Uruguay ministries will support Global Magellan in these events: Football

• Exhibition Games

o Hold exhibition games in Hainan.

• Football camps. We will provide Uruguay coaches.

o Hold football camps in China to train: Chinese young players. Professional players

Yachting

• Create Yacht Club membership that will allow members of both countries to enjoy races and club facilities

• Hold races in Hainan and also in Uruguay to promote international yachting• International regattas

Art Auction. We will promote and introduce our artists to support this.

Trade Shows and Exhibitions. Uruguay will promote Global Magellan through her trade associations.

• As China has positioned Hainan as her as an important window to the world for the next century, Uruguay would like to work with Global Magellan to channel Latin American enterprises and products for the Chinese market to be exhibited in Hainan through trade shows and exhibitions to take advantage of Hainan's Free Trade Port.

Education: Uruguay Ministries will work with Global Magellan.

• The Latin American subcontinent has a population of 650 million people. Uruguay would like to partner with Global Magellan to create a vocational training center in Hainan that will offer:

o Spanish: so that there will be more Spanish translators, guides, and also workers to support our trade. We would be interested to also offer Chinese language classes in Uruguay to promote the same.

o Dances: Latin American dances such as tango and candombe. We are also interested to offer the same in Uruguay through you as well.

o Business Culture

Classes on Latin American culture so Chinese business people can better understand how best to work with their counterparts in Uruguay and other Latin American countries. On November 18, 2020, the Ministry of sport of Uruguay, Hainan provincial government and our company signed a tripartite agreement on the establishment of Uruguayan football club. On the same day, the Uruguayan ambassador on behalf of Uruguay signed an agreement with our company to set up an auction center as well as a Latin education.
