The PMO Intern is accountable for supporting
the translation of project documents from English to Chinese to meet with
regulator’s requirement on document language during annual IT rating. As a part
of the PMO team, the PMO Intern is also accountable for supporting project
managers to play roles including project coordination, communication,
reporting, or any assigned tasks.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collect project documents need to be
translated
Work with other team members to understand
the banking terms and technical terms
Translate from English into Chinese in areas
such as: Finance, Taxation, Management, Marketing, Information technology and
Accounting.
File translation documents on project share
point sites based on project document retention processes
Create and maintain clear document sorting
Manage several assignments and priorities at
once
Make appropriate research
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge:
5 working days per week, 4 months at least
Excellent in English and Mandarin, both oral
and in writing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
with clients on product instruction and process flow description via phone
Strong learning skills
Sincere, patient and easygoing
Well-disciplined with ability to manage
multiple assignments efficiently under pressure
Preferably with working experience of
internships on commercial service
Strong skills on the use of technology tools
e.g. Microsoft Office, internet explorer
