The Amazon Global IT team has an immediate opening for a IT Support Engineer-Intern to support Amazon.com's growing presence in the Chengdu office. The IT Support Engineer-Intern will be extremely customer focused and must have a good understanding of computer systems (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. They will work with his/her team and manager on resolving internal customer computer related problem, will be innovative, energetic, and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor Intern-4 days a week
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to explain technical terminology to non-technical end users
3. Highly self-motivated and directed
4. Basic network skill.
5. Proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 7 and additionally one or more of the following: o Mac OS X o Linux Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and client applications required
6. Hardware and software troubleshooting experience required
7. Good verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service, both in Chinese and English language Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master degree intern in Information Technology or related field- 4 days a week
2. Professional qualifications relating to Microsoft, Linux
3. CCNA or above holder
4. Background with Exchange and Active Directory
5. Former IT experience or training
6. Linux and Mac experience
7. Flexibility, thinking on your feet, and strong problem solving skills
8. Track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an dynamic environment
9. Knowledge of ITIL Process and Procedures with a focus on Incident Management, Background in Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suit.
