JOB DESCRIOPTION - DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·Use appropriate language skills to source, understand and analyze financial information
·Collect economic indicator data and information within various APAC countries/markets
·Maintain database in a timely and accurate manner
·Use technical and financial knowledge to add value to current data offering
·Seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation
·Support training of new team members
·Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients
·Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices
·Document policies, procedures and work processes
·Provide feedback on new database/application releases
·Identify, lead and practice different approaches to improve the work efficiency
·Communicate and collaborate with team members, managers and 3rd party companies in different locations
·Some roles will require employee to work shift patterns and/or during public/national holidays
COMPETENCIES
·University education pre-requisite
·Fluency in English (and firm understanding of spelling, grammar and usage) a pre-requisite
·Fluency in Japanese, must pass or at the same level of JLPT -1
·Firm knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) a pre-requisite
·Knowledge or experience of financial markets a distinct advantage
