Position: Field Engineer Intern

Overview:
Assist team members on VOC collection, solution design, service before and after sales, SFDC maintains, basic work of seminars. Teaming with Field Engineers, Development Engineers and Product Managers to project and accounts assist and drive.
Key Tasks:
Participate in the development of new customers and projects.
Assist team on the VOC collection, solution design, service before and after sales.
Assist team to gather needed information to make the design input available as complete as possible.
Work out, prepare and present TE proposals (product selection, design solutions and project objectives)
Gain, correctly interpret and apply to customer information, internal data and research results (markets, competition, technology roadmaps, trends)
Support development, testing, evaluation of TE products within customer applications
Interface between the TE Engineering design team and the customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information available
Coordination and early involvement of and on-time communication with all involved TE internal departments (account manager, engineering, production, project management, marketing, etc.)
Ensure on time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activities
Provide regular project status updates to the involved parties, especially the Account Manager
Stay in permanent contact with the customer and report project status and feedback
Attend project meetings and conduct regular customer calls and presentations
Do problem solving and assessing technical complaints
Support quality teams in solving problems with TE products with on-site evaluation and detailed discussion with customers
Key Goals & Objectives:
Project Pipeline identification and conversion
New Product Stream development, implementation in current and new platforms
Drive Extraordinary Customer Experience – Exceed customer expectations
Key Qualifications, Experiences & Knowledge:
Must have at minimum a bachelor’s of engineering degree– electronics / electrical with mechanical aptitude preferred
Ability to have broad knowledge of the Tyco Electronics’ technology and product portfolio
Ability to gain the relevant market standards and key product design requirements
Excel, Word expertise with project management and opportunity pipeline data base
Open thinking and good teamwork and communication skills
Fast and excellent learning ability
English Skill meet or above CET-6

Ability of creative, analytical and structured thinking to execute on priorities
