DESCRIPTION
The
Customer Insights Analyst role is responsible for improving the support and
products offered to Tesla’s existing owners and future consumers. This position
requires collaboration with Sales, Service and Quality Leadership along with
Executive Staff. The ideal candidate will contribute to new ideas and improve
existing process based on survey feedback to enhance Tesla’s Purchase Process,
Installation, Delivery and Total Ownership Experience. The overall responsibility
of this role is to analyze survey responses to report on Customer Satisfaction,
NPS, and Product Quality. Moreover, by uncovering reasons why prospects do not
move forward with their orders, you will provide insights into how we can
improve gross margins and reach Tesla’s sales quarterly goals.

Responsibilities:
Evolve into a
resource for organizations and training departments.Evaluate the needs
of potential and existing customers and work in a creative, pro-active
manner to improve their experience.Provide in-depth
market and regional survey summaries, inclusive of narratives that
includes trend analysis and improvement suggestions.Work closely with
global counterparts to gather insights into Tesla’s potential and existing
customer base. Bring focus to our store and service experience by
providing a global view of customer feedback.Availability and
commitment to contribute in EOQ global and market survey summaries.Identify and
escalate vehicle and organization trends posted on social media.Ability to speak
directly with Tesla customers when difficult satisfaction issues arise,
along with partnering with department managers to resolve concerns.Effectively handle
multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.Perform ad-hoc
duties as assigned by line management Requirements:
You have previous
experience from working as an analyst with focus on customer data. If data
analysis is an interest even outside of working hours and you spend time
reading about Customer Analytics, you are the kind of analyst we are looking
for;
Excellent written and oral communications
skills in English (Japanese/Korean reading ability is a STRONG plus)Passion for AnalyticsComfortable dealing with spreadsheets on a
daily basis – if a VLOOKUP is making you sweat, this job may not be for
you. R, Tableau, Python expertise in data analysis is a STRONG plus.Ability to present complex information in
simple terms with clear recommendations based on data insight.Strong product focus and customer focus
mentality.Ability to work in a fast paced
environment, adapt easily to changing situations and demonstrates
flexibility in juggling priorities. Ability to prioritize effectively and
handle shifting priorities.Self-starter who is able to take
initiative to drive results with minimal supervision.
