Production Operations Intern Description

·         Retail Solutions is seeking an intern to ensure all retailer data streams are supported and loaded into the system in a quality and scalable manner. Responsibilities will include ongoing support of daily/weekly data loads; providing ongoing backend support of RSi services.

Location: Shanghai

Working Language: English/Chinese

Report To: Manager, Production Operations

Direct Report: None

Primary Responsibilities

·         Monitor the health of data system and data quality

·         Perform data validation

·         Perform troubleshooting to errors and data issues

·         Escalate production issues to senior members or managers

·         Participate in various projects of enhancement

·         Maintain work documents of the team

Skills and Experience Required

·         University Degree – preferably related to business information systems

·         Strong oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English are required

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and/or Access

·         Good creative problem solving skills

·         Good cooperation and collaboration skills

·         Knowledge of any mainstream database product and SQL preferred
